It's Been A Tough Week / by Tynesia Boyea-Robinson

This has been a tough few weeks.  A big contract we applied for did not come through, and what is most frustrating is that we had a great solution.  The reviewers shared their comments during the debrief, and we had one of the highest scores of all the submissions.  One of the biggest questions was whether or not we had the capacity to pull off our plans.  The capacity question is the ultimate catch 22 with entrepreneurship in general- you need resources to build capacity, you need capacity to secure additional resources. When entrepreneurs talk about their businesses, they rarely talk about the tough times, and even I am guilty of that.  But if we are going to  Live.Learn.Grow.TM together, that’s precisely when we should be sharing.  So in light of that, I thought I’d link to a recent post by fellow values driven entrepreneur, Teju Ravilochan, Unreasonable Institute CEO.  This work has its ups and downs, but when what you do aligns with your passion and purpose, the roller coast is worth the ride.
